We're looking for a senior character artist who will work on original and known properties, intended for a cinematic creation platform. These include characters from popular Netflix cartoons and major studio movies.

Aquifer enables non-animator creative teams from marketing, social media, to content to produce original animated media in minutes by combining 3D art, augmented reality, 3D cloud rendering, and predictive filmmaking techniques in one easy-to-use mobile and web platform. Are An Accomplished Artist: You've created characters used in VFX or games, and have several great portfolio pieces to show. 

Enjoy Team Collaboration: You appreciate and value clear communication, empathy, and teamwork. You are comfortable communicating with a team of creators. 

Are Thorough: Modeling characters is great, but seeing the characters through the entire pipeline makes your work really shine.

Create amazing 3d characters of cinematic/VFX quality destined for use in real-time rendering.

Model high and low poly versions when needed.

Collaborate with our technical artists as the characters are rigged for our software.

Create textures and shaders for characters, and collaborate with our team to find the ideal match in Unity.

Expert Character Art Skills.

Knowledge of entire character pipeline, from working with concept art in the 3d modeling of a subject, to texture mapping and materials.

Extremely good collaborator with an interdisciplinary team.

Style: you excel in stylized characters similar to those in popular family CG animated films.

Experience with Unity3d and its pipelines, both URP and HDRP.

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training (required). 4+ years of 3d Character modeling, including any graduate studies.
